Fife Voluntary Action: Fife Voluntary Action will deliver a short, time-limited (approx. 16 weeks) goal-specific befriending project for adults living in Fife who are challenged socially due to disability, mental health, bereavement, retirement or geography and who seek to increase their levels of independence, by improving their volume of social contact, competency and ability to access activities or services. FVA will recruit and train volunteers to carry out the befriending roles.
FVA will also support the other organisations in the partnership with the recruitment, training and of volunteers, as well as assistance with the associated policies and procedures.
